Originally built in 1908 as only a 3 room home with no indoor plumbing, this family home has been remodeled multiple times and used for several purposes including a single family home, a home shared by several widowers, a local food pantry, offices for the church and an outreach center. Antone and Mary Koesler, one of the long time owners, made many memories with family and friends while living across the street from the Sacred Heart High School. Visits after church on Sundays for homemade bread and jelly, grandkids stopping in after school just to say "hi", mowing the yard and pulling weeds from the flower beds, family reunions when the sisters came to visit and even an occasional catholic mass for the family are among the favorites.
In order to keep a little family history alive, John and Dana (great-granddaughter of the Koeslers) purchased and had the home relocated to their 100 acre homeplace northeast of Muenster, Texas. Once again, a remodel has taken place.......................
